Is there a yarn that you just love but is a little out of your reach? Whether it’s too pricey or they don’t sell it in your area? I have that problem. There are a lot of affordable yarns I love. The one I use the most is Lion Brand Cotton-Ease, which is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic. I use this for a lot of my projects. Unfortunately they don’t sell it in my area but I get a great deal on Fabric.com so I stock up when I need it.
But the yarn I wish I could have an unlimited supply of, my dream?
It’s a worsted superwash 55% wool/45% organic cotton and man is it soft! Not only is it soft but the variety of colors it comes in is amazing! The names are fun too like Chocolate Milk, Tiny Dancer, Skydiver, Jelly Bean, and many more.
Aren’t the colors awesome??
My favorite is definitely “Grass”
I have only purchased three skeins of this yarn because of the price. I used my Christmas money and got a great deal on Craftsy.com and got the blue, white and orange.
When I got it in the mail, I was so excited! It was my first time feeling the yarn and seeing the colors in person. I loved them right away.
Want to know the sad thing? I love it so much that I don’t want to use it! I want to save it for the perfect project, but have no clue what that will be. The colors are not what I usually use but are still great. I think it may be used for more stuffed animals for my kiddos or some hats. They are great boy colors.
So my dream is to someday have a lifetime supply and stash of this amazing yarn, in every color! I think it would be so fun to open a closet in my mansion (ha yeah right) and pick out any color I want at any time. Is that lame? Well maybe, but a girl can dream…
Do you have any yarn dreams like this yarn nerd?
That is definitely my colour too. I love that olive green colour but I am a bit scared of yellow! Jo x
