Snow Day

Yesterday it snowed all day. I wish I were excited for snow days, but I’m not. Yes I like being all cuddly and cozy inside but I also want warm weather and no snow! We talk a lot about moving to Florida someday.

Thankfully my hubby was working in town and was able to reschedule all his appointments. I don’t think anyone should drive in weather like this!

It went from sleet, to big fat snow flakes, to snow with a lot of wind.

Our dog is part Husky and she doesn’t mind the snow one bit Smile

We ended up having a lovely tea party. Hailey served some elegant Goldfish Crackers with our tea

The pup did a lot of this

I decided to frame one of Hailey’s little crayon drawings. It just adds color to the house

I was also able to finish up two orders I had. I got to make a newborn sock monkey hat, which was so little and cute

It looks like next week we will be getting the biggest snow storm of the year. Not looking forward to that. But we always know how to keep ourselves busy when we have to stay in!

This weekend I am working on a bunch of hats I am putting in the Etsy shop for Easter/Spring. I hope you all have a great weekend! Have any fun crocheting or knitting projects to do?

  2. Thanks for posting the pictures of your snow and for letting me live vicariously through them for a little while.

I must say that I am wicked jealous of your snow. I know, I know -- how can I say such a thing?! But I've been in Arizona for 12 years now, and coming from Scotland, where snow is pretty frequent, I find I miss it. I also miss proper seasons and autumn colour. ::sigh::

  3. Cute puppy, even cuter little girl!! That tea party looks fancy :) I hope they are wrong about next weeks storm. We have been very fortunate this year in the weather department but that means next year will be AWFUL!
