Hey everyone! I missed WIP Wednesday yesterday so I thought I would post today.
First is this little piggy for my daughter. She has been requesting that I make her this pig for quite awhile. She is so excited! She has already named her “Friendly”.
The other thing I have been working a lot on is the granny square blanket. I may have mentioned that I was going to try to have it ready to give to my daughter for Christmas. That obviously didn’t happen! I’m not disappointed (she got a lot of awesome gifts). I decided my goal is to just finish it sometime this year. Seems more reasonable! Hailey is still picking a lot of the colors, which is so fun. I also went back after awhile and re-sewed in a lot of the ends. I did a pretty poor job the first time around. Now they are all sewn in securely! I will make sure to sew them in as I go from now on.
Check it out!
I am loving how colorful it is! I also really like the white border
I have also been enjoying seeing everyone’s Mood Blankets around the internet and on Instagram. I think that is such a fun idea! I decided not to participate because of the blanket I’m already working on.
That’s all for now!
is a beautigul colour granny!..I want to see this piggy cute.

I love the blanket, it is coming along nicely. Also love Miss Piggy, she will be so adorable when she is done. I am not mood blanketing either, although it is a great idea. I have way too much on my creative plate right now.

Great granny square afghan! Love all the colors! I agree, sewing in all of those loose ends are a pain :-(

ReplyDeleteGreat WIPs! The pig is coming along nicely, and I love the colors in your granny square blanket. I'm working on a blanket for my daughter that was supposed to be for her birthday last year; I'm hoping to have it done by this year's birthday! We all have great intentions :-)

Loving the granny square blanket. You don't see many of these joined up in white, but it is very effective. Lovely colours.
