I just dug through my little basket of random knit and crochet projects and found a lot of unfinished projects. I am so bad at finishing something if I get burnt out on it or have other things that have to come first, like orders from the shop. Why do I have such a problem with this? I get excited to start something then get distracted. I think I have the attention span of a bug. Ha!
So here are my random Work In Progress projects…
Granny squares that haven’t been joined yet. I was on a roll for awhile with these then of course I got bored and moved on. I do love those colors though
This hat, well I have no clue what pattern it came from and how many more rows it needs to be finished. This was way at the bottom of the basket so it makes sense that I forgot. I do know that it’s made with half double crochets so that’s a plus. I really like it though so I am going to do some searching so I can finish this and even make more!
This is a knitted square I started and I love the pattern. Can you see the hearts? I was going to knit a bunch of different squares with different patterns to make a blanket but this yarn isn’t what I want anymore. I may frame this swatch and hang it up on the wall somewhere in the house!
Lastly, this little guy. I feel bad for him. He is supposed to be a little bunny for my daughter but right now it’s just a round little head with no face. My daughter laughs and calls it a ball head. I feel bad because she keeps asking me when her bunny will be done. This little guy has been put on the back burner many times. She has been very patient with me. I will probably try to work on it this weekend.
Ha, well my daughter just peaked over my shoulder, laughed and said “Hey there’s my bunny head! Mom will you make that for me tomorrow?” So it looks like I will be working on him sooner than the weekend.
So as you can see, I should probably work on all of these projects before I start a new one. I am determined to finish each of these

ahh! finish the bunny before she gets too old for it. My girls are thrilled when I make them something - time pressures really do make it more difficult though. Jo x

ReplyDeleteMary, I am EXACTLY the same way... I start something all excited, then quickly get bored and move on to something else. I have so many bags with WIPs in them it is taking over our guest bedroom. I keep telling myself one of these days... :)
