{ WIP Wednesday and Yarn Along }

Here is my Work In Progress project this week…

This week I am finally able to add a book I am reading. I’m not a big reader so I am only able to half participate in the Wednesday Yarn Along.

I’m working on a knitted puppy for Hailey and am reading “Bloom” by Kelle Hampton. I have been a long time follower of her blog Enjoying the Small Things so I had to buy her book. So far it’s really good!

Here is a little peak at what the puppy is going to look like.

The pattern is from a pattern book written by Susan B. Anderson called Itty Bitty Toys.

Speaking of her pattern books, I bought ALL of them recently! I was so excited when I got them in the mail

I’m so excited to try more of her patterns

In order to try some of her patterns, I thought I would get some new knitting needles too. These are so fun! I love the colors and how well they work when I knit. I got these beauties at Knit Picks

My elephant is almost done by the way. All I need to do it add his eyes and a tail. I may knit a sweater for him but I’m not sure. I’m excited because I am going to mail him to my cousin Jackie who LOVES elephants.

Have a great Wednesday

  3. oh goodness! My daughter had a pattern she wanted me to make and it involved more than 2 needles...I didn't even attempt it as it was just too confusing for me.

    Just joined your blog. I love all your photos. The puppy pattern looks sweet; I'm sure you'll have fun making it. Love the knitting needles! Do they have crochet hooks with those cool colors?
