Here are my Work In Progress projects this week…
First is my niece’s sock monkey hat. She doesn’t like pink so I found a nice purple to use instead. To make it more girly, I will add a flower instead of a tassel.
What’s fun is all of the cousins will have sock monkey hats when they open them at my mom’s for Christmas. I decided to make one for Hailey too! Hers will be grey and pink. I had already made one for my cousin Dalton last year so he is good to go.
I can’t wait to see them all wearing their hats together! I told my mom it would be fun to have them all jumping on the bed with them on.
I made this sock monkey hat for my friend Libby’s son Noah. These are the same colors I used for my younger nephew’s hat. I can’t wait to see pictures of Noah wearing the hat! I’ll share those when I get them
I also decided to pick up my Tunisian crochet squares again. I just had an itch to do some good ole Tunisian crocheting. It’s very relaxing to me. I started another crossed stitch square this time.
After the holidays, I think I will write up another tutorial for a new stitch. There are still so many others you can do!
Have a great day everyone
