{ W.I.P Wednesday }

Here is my Work In Progress projects right now

Well folks, I put the Square a day on hold. I saw this cardigan in one of my pattern books and just had to try it.

I am so excited for Hailey to be able to wear this! This is the first time I have ever crocheted something for Hailey to actually wear besides hats.

I have a couple more rows on the body to finish then I go back and finish the sleeves. This pattern is awesome and so easy!

I got it from this book

Her patterns are so cute!

I have also been practicing my knitting. If you remember, I have been struggling with how to hold the needles and it was just awkward. I decided to just take some yarn and practice the continental knitting. It’s so much easier! Since I started with crocheting, continental is perfect.

So here is my little swatch I have been making. It’s kind of pathetic looking Smile

I’ve been doing mostly knit stiches but I throw in a couple rows of pearl stitches, which I am having the most trouble with. Slowly though I am getting the hang of it and going a little faster. I’m excited to knit something fun for Hailey.

Head over to Kristine’s blog if you want to link up your W.I.P post!

  4. I absolutely love the cardigan! What sizes does the pattern come in? I might just have to make one for my girls.

    BTW - Good job on the knitting. Someday I'll learn....
