We aren’t huge fans of Halloween around here. We are huge fans of fall and everything else that goes with it. Hailey just loves pumpkins. What’s nice is they aren’t just for Halloween, so we use them to decorate for fall.
I finally finished the lovely pumpkin garland!
I’ll be honest and say I didn’t have a lot of places to choose from for hanging. We don’t have a fireplace mantel, but boy I wish I did! Anyway, this will have to do.
I used Vanna’s Choice yarn, which I love using for little projects like this. I picked a little darker orange and green.
In other pumpkin news, Hailey painted her little pumpkin over the weekend. This is the second year she has done this. We let her paint and paint until the pumpkin can’t take anymore.
Next weekend Kyle and I will carve our pumpkins. I think I am more excited to bake and eat the pumpkin seeds

Very sweet! In our last house, I didn't have a mantel, so I used a shelf :-) I'm happy to have a mantel in our current house for sweet things like this! Thanks for sharing!
