{ WIP Wednesday }

Here is my Work In Progress project this week

Right now I am just working on my granny stripe blanket. I love how it is looking!

I ran into a little issue…I ran out of white yarn! I was really close to the end when I needed to switch to another color but I couldn’t make it. And now I can’t work on until the yarn I ordered comes tomorrow.

I order a lot of my yarn from Fabric.com because the prices are awesome! You also can get free shipping if you spend $35 or more, which isn’t difficult. This Vanna’s Choice Baby I am using is literally $1 less than at Michael's.

I was so close!

It was quite the bummer. And now that this happened, I want to work on it even more. So I am looking forward to tomorrow when a box full of yarn love shows up at my door.

Has this ever happened to any of you? If it has, I feel your pain.

  1. I just ordered from amazon through fabric.com. It was a great deal. I love Vanna but can get that at my LYS if I need it, but I can't get Cotton Ease! I really enjoy how that washes up. It's almost $2 less than some other places. I love this pattern. Your colors are always so bright and beautiful!

  3. This happened to me on my stripe!! You should be able to work from the finished end with the next colour upto where you need more yarn, if that makes sense?!

  6. Running out of yarn is the worst, isn't it? Especially when you're on a roll. It looks great so far though. I love the colors.

  7. I have run out of yarn before. Once I bought more and it was obviously the wrong dye lot. I like the colors. I wouldn't have thought to put those together.

  9. I don't know if I've already said this or not - but I love the colors in this blanket. They are so pretty together.

    I didn't know you could buy yarn at Fabric.com!!! I'm going to have to go check that out right now!
