Virka

I learned something new today! The word “virka” means “crochet” in Swedish. Want to know how I figured this out? Well I stumbled upon an awesome blog the other day while looking on Pinterest.

This is what caught my eye

Isn't is awesome?? I love how she used an aqua color for the border of her squares instead of the usually white or black.

The color in this woman’s blog is almost overwhelming. I could sit and look at it all day.

So back to the word “virka”. The reason I found this out is because this woman’s blog is written in Swedish, which is a huge bummer for me. I’ve tried translating the whole site through Google and it didn’t really work. So I just translated the word '”crochet” and looked on her sidebar for the word. One click and I hit the crochet jackpot on her blog. Everything is just beautiful.

Update! I figured out how to translate the website. Smile

Here is her blog if you want to check it out
